I posted a new album review on the blog, of Hospitality's self-titled release. It's a really solid twee/indie-pop album, even though it's not exactly the most memorable.

RO: "Passenger Pigeons" by The Handsome Family might be the best and most heart-felt country song I have listened to.

I agree. My affinity for The Clash notwithstanding, I think he's got great variety, especially for a punk drummer.

    Amen to that.

Punk bias aside, I very much agree.

And, of course, if said disturbing vocals are not delivered in a scream, they are worthless and most definitely not br00tal.

He actually has listened to a bit of pornogrind, though. Like I said, the reason he finds this particular song so deliciously br00tal is because it samples a recording of some woman calling the police after being attacked by her monkey. So it's apparently got to be for realz, never mind the fact that it's totally exploitative and not particularly creative.
Sounds like this fool should be thrown in a monkey cage in the zoo and then the impending attack should be recorded. Afterwards, while the fool is in the hospital recovering, someone can play to him music that sounds like something "The Monkees" would record but contains a sample of him being attacked throughout the song. After wards one can ask this little mongoloid if that song was "deliciously br00tal".
Bands I'd love to see as DLC for Rock Band:

    Bathory []
    Bal Sagoth []
    Amorphis []
    Emperor [X]
    Enslaved []

Even on both cases I STRONGLY disagree.

I'd strongly disagree with the old stuff not aging well, but the band itself? They were already going downhill when they finally made it big.

Are Men/Are Me, Everything to Everyone, Maroon are all up to spunk; especially to Stunt. I'll also say All In Good Time was one of their best albums in years.
