I've come across a rather wide range of smells for pot. Some of it gives off the nicest, sweetest-smelling odor ever. Other times, it smells like a gym locker that hasn't been emptied out for a few months.

Yeah, that's true. The smell of weed varies changing on the type. The only time I think it smells bad is if it's something like skunk weed, because well... it smells like a skunk.
