Was listening to a preview medley of songs from the new Spock's Beard album... not sure if I like it or not. Also very weird hearing Ted Leonard's voice at the front of that band.

William Reid and Phil Knight (Jesus and Mary Chain) are some of the coolest people I've ever met. William is ridiculously funny too. Actually took them to an after party after the show at a local bar and drove around town until about 530, crazy night.

Didn't get into Crescent Shield until a couple of years ago, but I found out about a week ago that their vocalist Michael Grant passed away. I like their album The Last of My Kind quite a bit and will be looking into their 2009 release soon.

i got them to play California Man, but they pretty much just stuck with the "best of" plus some of the songs off Rockford, they had a lot of energy, played a good show, Rick was in fine form, and my cousin got to meet them backstage before the show, i was super excited back then because i loved Cheap Trick and it was a free show
