I am even more excited for college now. During freshman year, my school (UC Davis) will be hosting concerts by Silversun Pickups, Jane's Addiction, Morissey, Elvis Costello, B.B. King, and Yo-Yo Ma. If working for college radio gives me hookups to these concerts I will be twice as excited.

Of course, I also consider Maroon 5 to be one of the very worst mainstream acts of the last two decades.

yeah, that song alone is making me cringe about buying RB:B, but for $15 for about 12 songs for free export on RB3? i'll take it

So I'm pretty excited. I finally got my friend into vinyl and set up a turntable at his house so this week at D&D the music will be actual records.

So can anyone recommend some good party type albums? Keep in mind they would have to be older music as that's what is in my collection. I realize this is difficult knowing nothing of what I have but I have no experience with playing full albums for crowds. I suppose anything that has a good constant flow to it.

I have about 350? albums in my collection right now.

Wait, people are supposed to watch their animals get put down? I don't mean to be insensitive, I'm just curious. Never owning anything other than fish, the process is rather foreign to me, but I don't think I could ever bring myself to watch it.

Yeah I couldn't bring myself to watch when they put my dog down. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to do that, honestly.
