I agree with this Random Opinion.
Bands I'd love to see as DLC for Rock Band:

    Bathory []
    Bal Sagoth []
    Amorphis []
    Emperor [X]
    Enslaved []

Yep, that's a good point. Can't wait to buy Blitz to play it, it's so awesome Harmonix was able to get the original.

It's one of the best bass songs we've got in a while. I haven't tried guitar yet, though.

Honestly haven't gotten to play as much Blitz as I would like due to the Internet here being relatively inconsistent... note to self: probably have to call Comcast before too long.

RO: Worst albums of 2011 were In Waves by Trivium and Aesthethica by Liturgy.
Not objectively the worst (that would probably go to Illud Divinum Isanus, but at least that album was so bad it was hilarious), but I have never heard albums like In Waves and Aesthethica that put me in such a foul mood after listening to them.

In defense of In Waves, however, at least it was music. Aesthethica was just a garbled mess of headache-inducing noise that sometimes happened to contain a decent-ish riff here and there (and then was immediately discarded in favor of long passages of the same, single guitar note/chord being played over and over again). Although Sun of Light manages to approach being a halfway decent song.

I laughed. Even the paragraphs written on bands I don't like at all were hilariously awful. No better example than the Bon Iver one: essentially, "good rock music is only made by people who generally act like idiots, Bon Iver guy doesn't act like an idiot; ergo, Bon Iver sucks." There are any number of reasons Bon Iver isn't good, but that is illogical and is not one of them.

I couldn't stand to listen to a full album of Trivium to give my thoughts on it, more than likely. Liturgy... not sure. Haven't heard their latest, but I tend to come and go on them.

Honestly, they could've just said Bon Iver had a generic sound that appealed to people who didn't listen to indie music and I would've agreed with him.

My favorite was the guy referring to Beach House as "neo-soul" in their paragraph.
