I like the Wipers; they do the same kind of thing early Flipper does but a bit more cohesive, I like them. But I'm not surprised with where your taste is at that you felt underwhelmed by 'em, I think two years ago would of been a better window for you and the Wipers if anything.

I almost closed my last.fm account yesterday due to the horrible new Winamp client, so maybe it's a good time to burn cyber-bridges.

This might be a weird thing to complain about, but I think the cover to Disturbed's Believe album would look a lot better if it was just a red shape on black, looking very flat with not a lot of detail. As it is, it just looks like the cover to that Crossfade album.

I think that line is just hysterical.

And honestly even if he might be skull numbingly stupid I can't get enough of half of his album. Diamonds, No Tomorrow, and Laughin to the Bank all bang.

Haha, yeah, "skull numbingly stupid" may be putting it nicely. But alcohol + friends + Chief Keef = FUN

I don't know if it matters, but I have Guitar Hero World Tour, and I remember the first time I ever played the Tool stage. That was also the last. No offense to Tool fans, but I thought the three songs they had (Parabola, Schism, Vicarious) were all really emotionless with no real zing to its melody, and the words were something like "I am the beast that feeds on your corpse" or something like that.
What do you mean "Is that Bibarel in my icon?" No it's not! Shut up! :P

Considering that two of the three Tool songs in that game came from the flat, bland, and sterile "Lateralus" album it shouldn't be surprising that the songs lacked emotion and any zing.

and the words were something like "I am the beast that feeds on your corpse" or something like that.
    Tool sing about eating corpses?

I think the one I mentioned is Vicarious.

I'm not sure, but isn't Parabola the most recognized of the three?

I'd say Schism is, since it actually managed to chart on Billboard's Hot 100. At 67, but that might as well be #3 for a Prog Metal band.
