where are you going? i start Tulane in New Orleans in August

I'm pretty well. Been sleeping more than normal, which is good. Oddly though, that's translated into more laziness instead of the opposite.

yeah, that's been happening to me a lot, too, to the same effect. also, felt on the music folder revamping drudgery

I have no choice to get off my ass every day. My job requires me to walk somewhere between 10-20 miles a day.

Holy crap, I actually look somewhat normal-sized anymore.

things are ok over here too. found my Chinese wife (wedding in October). bird flu. earthquakes. yeah, overall have a really positive outlook on things in general.

Been looking for work, but still meat wrapping, though earlier shifts and no longer closing finally. My laptop's motherboard died last week but on another computer for now. Other than that nothing really new for me.

yeah, closing is no fun. i've been stuck closing for a pizza restaurant two or three nights a week for a year now.

I've been working two restaurant jobs pretty much every night. This was my first time back in a few weeks and I was weirded out by having to reset my password.

yeah, one restaurant job is ****ty enough. i can only imagine two. do you deal with customers very much?

Still just working in an Amazon warehouse, trying to position myself to one day take over

i'd imagine you're probably a year or two out from a board position, then it's only a matter of time before you're President/CEO/CFO/all three

Yeah because I'm considering picking up Elephant Record Store Day release off of ebay.

It'd be around 60 which is a little high but it might be a small window I have to get it.

An exact amount doesn't pop into my head, but nothing high. I once dropped a pretty hefty sum on a collection of vinyl and limited edition cassettes, but it was a steal in my favor.
I've never considered myself a collector, and thankfully mp3's came along around the same time I started making enough money to throw around on things like that.

Restaurant work gives me nightmares. No more of that talk, please.

I did it. Around 60 but it's coming from a record store so I feel good supporting small business even though I don't like the fact that they held back RSD inventory to resell online...

In some ways it's better to have the excitement over the discovery of an overlooked find anyway. Paying $50 to get something you badly wanted is one thing - to find it just tucked out of the way for $5-10? Even better.

Oh definitely. I very rarely buy vinyl new or online but I make the exception for something brand new and limited in numbers.

Nice, I actually almost went to Tulane. However, I ended up going to Fordham University in The Bronx, and I'm still here for one more year.
