I'm really hoping NMH eventually plays a show in New York. No way I can get to Georgia or North Carolina, not to mention Taiwan or Japan.

Haven't seen you here in quite a while, welcome back! And that's pretty awesome you were able to see Iceage, heard a bunch of great things about them here even though I haven't listened to them myself yet, which I'll probably rectify in the near future.

As far as NMH is concerned, I listened to Aeroplane a while back when I started digging deeper into music and thought it was okay. Most of you guys probably enjoy the band much more than me, but it would be pretty cool to catch a live show.

I was supposed to see Iceage last year, my friend was hosting the concert, but I got stuck at work. That sounds awesome though, Franticfish, welcome back.

My first solo recording with any effort put into it was a cover of the title track from In The Aeroplane, and my love for that entire album is still immense.

EDIT: Looks like that cover's in my Mediafire folder right here. Just remember, this was right after high school and prior to my intro to PC recording.
    That's a pretty good cover.

Thanks. It's old as hell (If memory serves, done within a year of the original's release) and clips like crazy, but I'm kinda proud of it as a piece of personal history.

Are you releasing any more music in the near future?

I really don't know, to be honest.
I've been flaked on by two different labels over the past couple years. I've considered doing some super-limited edition stuff on my own and then uploading digital versions to bandcamp or something, but I haven't settled on anything.
I had close to an album's worth of material ready in demo form, but lost interest and have since just occasionally recorded more avant-garde stuff (which I have a strong tendency to never finish or release).

    Jeff Hanneman has passed.

I've never been a Slayer fan but gotta have respect.

I don't like any post-Seasons albums, but this is a bummer.

I haven't been on this site in ages, but I feel it's appropriate now that one of my big influences in guitar has died. Granted, I've always, ALWAYS, talking crap about their lead playing but being the main songwriter with Slayer, and having one of the best rhythm chops in the industry, I have to say I am truly in mad sorrow with the loss of Jeff. Almost as bad as when Dime died, and people who still remember me know, I loved that fu**er. I've talked to other people on how he died and we all ruled on the idea that it must've been the treatment on his necrosis from that fu**ing reclusive spider that did him in. Nobody just get's liver failure from left field, unlike Rex Brown from Pantera, and then die from it.

    .....It's just a fu**ing bummer man.
