SoulSeek is P2P.
Rapidshare is NOT P2P.
In order to ensure quality, you just have to have a quality source. Generic torrent sites like ThePirateBay and Mininova are NOT quality sources.
Demonoid is okay, but Waffles and similar sites are far better.
You'll get mixed results on blogs/rapidshares.

Where does it say P2P on the front page?
http://rapidshare.com/
P2P is peer-to-peer, in which the different "peers" on the network talk directly to one another, rather than using a central server. Such is the case in a .torrent when each client talks to one another and the seeders give the files to the downloader. Or is the case in soulseek when one party downloads the track from another parties computer.
On rapidshare, the file uploaded to a central server ("easy filehosting") and it is hosted there and downloaded from there by other parties.
As far as I know, kewlshare is just another filehost (like rapidshare, megaupload, mediafire, etc), but I've never used it.
