The riff in Twinkles is very Smashing Pumpkins-like. But other than that and the phaser effect common in both bands' songs, there really isn't too much similarity.

Naturally, it's a great song.

I kind of disagree with that one. Gun's N' Roses is a much heavier, aggressive band than Aerosmith.

Still, GNR owes 90% of their sound to Aerosmith.

That's up for debate. Of course, there's also the question of whether or not the company that makes Twinkies would have sued them and gotten the album pulled off the shelves. And personally, I would go insane if I didn't get my Carnavas.

I think Test for Echo is their best album

I don't see why, the great thing about Rush(although I haven't been listening to them much at the moment) in my opinion is that every album is great.
