After hanging out with the people in rock band club at my school(they are WAY more into the local scene thatn I am) I've found out about some basement/house shows. I have no desire to go to them though, with band names like snake's *** it just screams horrid metalcore/deathcore.

Seems to be a lot of that going around lately.

Also, apparently Neil Young closed the Vancouver Olympics. Awesome.

Las Vegas doesn't really have a basement scene since most people lack basements.

Apparently a fairly large Deathcore crowd is growing in the local scene, god damnit. Hopefully my band and a few others can help remedy that situation.
