    It has everything from Funk to Soul to Rock to Folk to Pop, IIRC, which is far better than the Hip-Hop, Bubblegum Pop, and Soft Rock that the modern one features.

    Just finished watching the current version and vocalists who fall under urban soul seem to contribute too. It didn't seem as bad as you pegged it.

    There are a few that are good that I didn't recognize, but the ones I did, let's just say I'm not happy they were there.

    It could of been a lot worse, though. I didn't recognize any-- but were they any country musicians involved (CMT pop or no)?

    meanwhile i just got back from a football game against the supervisors from work, we lost, one kid got stitches, another broke his nose, several shirts were ripped, and we're all bruised up, so i think the dining court is going to be slow going tomorrow

    @Gowie

    No Country artists that I can recall, whereas the original had Willie Nelson and Kenny Rogers.

    Apparently the new one had Jennifer Nettles (of Sugarland) as I'm reading it on wiki.
