    I've always thought of nu-metal as being characterised by heavy, distorted riffs on drop-tuned guitars with an additional emphasis on rhythm due to hip-hop influence, and simpler, grunge-inspired song strucutres. Pretty much exactly what you would expect from metal kids who grew up in the '90s.

    Wow, I haven't posted in a few days because I've been busy drinking too much. Make me better guys, I am feeling low. Also, Soror, your warning against American Girls is now heeded.
