Actually, that brings up something totally unintended but only somewhat related.

Am I the only one that thinks it's wrong that, in today's society, women are considered equal, and want equality, yet are almost given a double standard? I guess I'd compare it to reverse racism; when you treat a minority better because they belong to a certain race. I read something a long time ago, a survey about a question like "if a women hit you, would you hit back?", and a very large number said no. That seems almost as discriminatory, to me; a double standard. I don't think women actually want to be treated like delicate things that could break at the slightest provocation.

Don't get me wrong; not only is hitting women wrong, but hitting anyone is, in almost every case, wrong. Even justifying it with "self-defense" can be a stretch. I just believe that every human being is equal.

So, as far as I'm concerned, you have every right to chainsaw that women as you do a man

You'd be wrong. Very very wrong.
But legal worries are not very significant to me. There are tons of loopholes to exploit and simple precautions to take to avoid them. And the **** I download isn't going to attract much attention anyway.

Is there such thing as an adapter that would allow me to play an electric guitar or bass directly into a computer and use it in something like Reaper?

if you don't care about sound quality you can just get an adaptor at radio shack that turns your 1/4 cable into an 1/8 and plug right in to your mic/in jack.

if you want it to sound better you can get a cheap recording interface or even one of those guitar-specific interfaces like podfarm, revalver, amplitube, etc.

We use one of these for our mic inputs at 'kdu, and they can also be used for guitars.

Damn right it's annoying. My mom has a very feminist attitude, talking about how women are still below men and so on. Yet every time we go out somewhere she gets pissed if me or my bro forget to hold the door open...

Today's feeling like a Dinosaur Jr day

Every time I listen to Dinosaur Jr., it seems like their albums get better and better.

lmao, I ban people who don't share all the time, damn right you should share your files. Just go to options > file sharing configuration > add shared folder. Then add whatever folder holds your music, which in my case is my itunes folder.

Yeah, too many people try to download from me who aren't sharing any files.

i don't mind people who don't have a lot to share, but anytime i see "no files shared" i ban without hesitation.
