You have to buy the radio thing for in the car, then a subscription. I wouldn't know how much XM's gear is though, my family's on Sirius.
Y'all remind me of my grandsons but they like Ice Cube movies so I can't never speak to them again. Excuse me, I'ma get me some Kool-aid.

I imagine it's sort of like comcast cable, where you need one cable box for every TV you want to use. Seems interesting, I actually despise pretty much all my local radio stations. The only one that's worth listening to anymore is the Classical station, and occasionally the classic rock station (they play some unorthodox choices every once in awhile). My local spoon-fed rock station is just awful though, in ways you can't imagine.

There's a few local stations I like (mainly due to the personalities) but it's usually either Satellite or NPR don't laugh

I do, but that doesn't work for 20 minute or less drives

This post is full of such wisdom!

RQ: Backspacer any good I mean it is going on sale for only $10 so why not get it? (and the Green Day and AFI packs as well as Seven)

That's the first Harvey Milk album I heard, I need to acquire more of their material.

No. I think it's under $30 for a year, but I could be wrong.

Which is, I take it, why you don't like Alt Nation (the music there sucks, too) or 1st Wave - the dreaded Madison. And I like NPR's news. I learned to love it during my excursions through Northern Idaho.

National Public Radio. They have good news and some cultural programming similar to PBS.
