At least I know my school has the best campus in Troy, New York, haha.
I really wanted an urban campus, but all of the engineering schools that met that condition seemed way too rigid.

Yeah, I'm doing Accounting, which is surprisingly more limiting than I thought it'd be because most of the schools I'm looking at don't have an actual degree for it. I may have to settle for a Business degree with a concentration in Accounting, then go on to get my Masters in an actual Accounting degree.

I really love closed campuses, particularly Santa Clara University's, but I love Boston so much that I actually like the more open campuses there. Wandering around the streets and seeing so many people around my age in the surrounding area was pretty refreshing.

Yeah, I think I have to scope out the area for more schools, I heard there are some more schools within my grade and size range that are great for what I'm looking for.
After some tours I had to drop a few off of my list, looks more like this now:
Boston University
Northeastern
Santa Clara University
University of Nevada, Reno
Looking to apply to a minimum of 7, NYU was just too big and I'm not the biggest fan of the surrounding area. I don't think Greenwich Village is anything like what it used to be either.

I applied to 6 schools last year (4 I was pretty comfortable with my chances and was accepted to, two longshots I didn't get into). And while I didn't like NYU (campus thing, and it's not the school it used to be, IMO), Greenwich Village is still a pretty cool place. Maybe not as happening as it used to be, but still a nice area. Bunch of excellent restaurants there, too.
Yeah, I just got this feeling that all the "artsy" people there are thespians or visual arts people and not musicians whereas it used to be a hotbed for music from what I understand.

What is your planned major Ultimatum?
"A culture's teachings, and most importantly, the nature of its people, achieve definition in conflict."
Accounting, with a minor in Marketing and Sound Engineering.
