Christ, that is about as crazy as my music teacher's education. Didn't take his SATs and got a 2.5 gpa and went to PCC and then to USC.

Also, I am currently rank 74 in my class of 467, but I am competing with a bunch of super asians taking multiple AP classes so don't judge me.

I used to want to go to USC, but then had a change of heart after I saw what the campus is like (surrounded by a really ghetto area), and the fact that most of the people there don't even care about education and are just rich. UCLA is a nicer campus, plus I hear they have a great history program, which is good in my case.

I'd be going into engineering and I had heard those were good from a friend's dad, but I hadn't really researched much at all. I'm only a sophomore so I have time to pick a college. I'll probably look into some schools out east, I'm also planning on looking into the University of Chicago.

It also helps that I have the mighty affirmative action on my side!

I'm Native American enough to get a scholarship, but I lack the proper papers unfortunately.

So do I. Quarter Hispanic, yee

My aunt actually took advantage of that.
She went to college back in the '80s and didn't get much of a scholarship. When she went back to school a couple years ago, she signed up as Hispanic and got a lot of money from the school lul

Yeah, I was, if I recall, 27th in my class of 185.

The bright side about all that chaos (even though it took me eight years to get my Bachelor's Degrees, and once I get my Master's in April, I'll have been in college eleven years)? I've taken courses in just about everything. I have a good working background in my past majors (Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Marketing, Psychology, Mathematics, Secondary Education) and a decent enough grasp in areas that I have interest in (Psychology, Philosophy, and Theology) as well. Not bad for somebody getting their Master's in Applied Economics in April

Same, though the part of my life where that would make a difference is still a ways away.

Tends to happen with any school with a good law program.

Also, forgot to mention that I'm applying to Stanford as my "stretch" school. A teacher screwed me over freshman year and held a grunge against me, so my GPA is a little low, only 3.6ish. I smashed the SAT and ACT though.
You would probably get into UMCP with that GPA, I got in with a 3.7, average SATs, and two BS'd essay

Then again I did go to the top public school in my county (according to several college websites) and by APs am coming in as a sophomore
