    Thanks!

Also, Cubey, don't feel too bad. I love Echo & the BMen, but you'll never catch the same flak for being neutral on them that I get for being neutral on Hüsker Dü, The Replacements, The B-52's, Nick Drake, etc.

My point exactly. I'm on the young side for being a fan of Echo and the Bunnymen, The Sisters of Mercy, or Siouxsie and the Banshees, and I'm a week short of 27. This is more appealing to people in their early to mid 30s.

I wholly disagree, killer_roach. I love love love post-punk, and I know plenty of people slightly older than I am online who love it, too. I really just think it's a matter of personal opinion, and Cubey is entitled to his. No reason for people to try to rationalize it.

EDIT: Yes, TMG are part of my etc. as well, but it's a very tentative position, as I am somewhat interested in trying other albums by them (Him? It's basically just John Darnielle and a rotating cast of characters).

    I'm 16 and love Echo & the Bunnymen. I don't think it's age.

We have already discussed this, that is an incorrect "fact".

I can listen to it and see that it is good music and its artistic merits and all that, but i don't enjoy listening to it,if that makes any sense.

Would you pay for music by Beck?
    Maybe.
What if you heard he owned a plane made of gold?
    Sure.
Good, because he needs the money.
