My point exactly. I'm on the young side for being a fan of Echo and the Bunnymen, The Sisters of Mercy, or Siouxsie and the Banshees, and I'm a week short of 27. This is more appealing to people in their early to mid 30s.

I wholly disagree, killer_roach. I love love love post-punk, and I know plenty of people slightly older than I am online who love it, too. I really just think it's a matter of personal opinion, and Cubey is entitled to his. No reason for people to try to rationalize it.

EDIT: Yes, TMG are part of my etc. as well, but it's a very tentative position, as I am somewhat interested in trying other albums by them (Him? It's basically just John Darnielle and a rotating cast of characters).
