I'll have to grab an Area, Le Orme, and PFM album to round out the Big Four, with time Italian prog could become my favorite type as well.

That's about the order I'd take them in. It's not my favorite subgenre, but it is a very good one.

Let's all laugh at the guy who put the band name in italics instead of the album title. Unless you were referring to their debut EP, which is quite a few notches below Loveless and Souvlaki, thank you very much.

On the topic of Ride, what do you guys think about Going Blank Again, if you're familiar with it? I think it's mostly pretty weak but "Leave Them All Behind" is seriously the top contender for best Ride song ever.

Eh, at the very least you can check out Smile, a compilation of their first 2 EPs. That's still great. And Going Blank Again isn't bad, just a disappointment compared to Nowhere since it takes away their amazing shoegaze sound and puts in a poppier sound which sometimes sounds like C86 and sometimes sounds like Big Star.

Stay the ****ing hell away from their last two albums, though. I'm warning you.
