now if only i can find cool people who like music, instead of my friend/roommate who whenever i mention death metal, starts singing drowning pool.....
Wearing my band shirts has done wonders for me. That and meeting radio people and on campus venue people. Apparently, engineers have good taste, too, haha.

Right now, I'm just lowering my download rate to one or two a day, usually just stasis' album and a couple other necessities.

man, why do i have to do all the work

basically, it's a LAN based internet p2p file sharing service, undetectable by outside sources, kinda like SlSk for a certain network (Purdue is Dtella)

i always wear band shirts, and most people don't know what they are

(Zappa, ELP - BSS, Soul Asylum, Atheist, Yes, INXS, Sonic Youth, Uriah Heep, Hum, Besnard Lakes, She & Him have been the most recent ones people have not known)

hopefully the record club i'm starting up for my floor will get some people's tastes to open up

I don't have many music shirts, but most people around here don't recognize any of them unless they heard me talking about those bands before (Transatlantic, Devo, Porcupine Tree).
