i myself just bought a few albums on half.com, though 2 were albums i already had that i just wanted physical copies of, one was a DM cover album, and the other two were ones by bands 'stasis recc'd to me a few months ago, most were $0.75

Half is really awesome, I've found some outstanding prices. 1 of the albums I bought was only about $3, $6 including shipping.

I dont even know most of those bands and Id go...

Some great bands there. I'd be very excited about Sonic Youth, New Pornographers, Cat Power, and a hand full of others. At the same time, however, I'm not extremely big on concerts, and am not sure I'd want to see so many bands. It all depends on how much you enjoy seeing live music, I guess.

I would love live music if not for the crowds, usually.

i would say no, aside from the bigger headliners the rest of the acts have relatively cheap ticket prices. I paid $50 for a 5 day NXNE pass and got to see a bunch of those same bands. but that's just me, spend your dollars how ever you see fit.

Hmm.. I'd definitely pay that money for it, but... I've seen a few of those bands for free. Belle & Sebastian was $50 for me, but that's ok.

Yeah, it's pretty much the only festival like this that we will see unfortunately. Also, it's an evening festival which means limited playtime.

More than likely I'm not going. It's expensive, and everyone is only playing 40 minute sets. Plus, Cold Cave is playing a late night show (2:30-3:15) that I definitely will not be able to catch.

Here's to hoping Sonic Youth comes around again.

I probably wouldn't be able to do facebook, because for whatever reason, I've always hated picture taking. I literally won't step in front of a camera, I skip all of my yearbook pictures, and my mom doesn't have a picture of me above age 14. So, needless to say, taking pictures of myself and putting them on the internet is a bit out of the question. Not necessarily a phobia, just an unexplainable peculiarity of mine.

I also am afraid of goldfish, wear tissue boxes for shoes, refuse to cut my toe nails, force myself to vomit every three hours to release the evil toxins from my body, and get the sudden urge to snap an infants neck when I see the color purple,

Purple huh, mines Orange...playing on Hard-Expert is uncomfortable.

$300 tickets on the first day that were sold out in about 5 seconds = jacked the **** up ticket prices = not going for me, too.
