    I rely on Pitchfork quite a bit for music reviews. If they really like something, I tend to be pretty hesitant. If they hate it, odds are I'll like it

    RO: I hate having to pick and choose what songs can go on my unworthy, low memory ipod. I don't have a particularly big library (it never truly recovered from my two hard drive crashes), though I have over 500 songs from artists A-B (keeping in mind I'm only putting on stuff that I know I will want to listen to constantly), and I'm definitely gonna have to whittle it down. Erg.

    Yay, managed to limit it to 2200 songs. Not huge, but it'll work fine.

    Used to juggle 50gigs on a 8gig ipod...didnt work.
    Im now up to 105ish or so and i got a 150gig.

    i love the idea of having highly portable music, but growing up with tape-decks and not even having a portable cd player until i was 18 makes the whole thing seem more extravagant than it probably is.
