Regardless, I love the song and Strummer/Jones is still one of my favorite (if not my favorite) songwriting tandem.

I just played this, and I don't know what to think. Instrumentally, it's pretty solid aside from the synth which I think is overbearing and I think the second solo ends hastily. The vocals however rub me the wrong way. I'm not much of a fan of Angela, in Arch Enemy or here, and the attempt to recreate Cynic's vocoder effects just seem weird.

I also think that it's too straightforward of a cover. I do like how they try to recreate the second solo back in 4:50, but every other decision is too conservative for my liking. I would have liked for this cover to be a little longer so the band could experiment a little more with the song. It seems like they are decent musicians and have a lot of respect for Cynic and the song in question, but rush things too much in trying to keep true to the original recording.

Overall it's not bad but I'll stick to the original "How Could I?". This is one of the first Cynic covers I can recall hearing. I wonder if there are any others that I can find.
