As long as the tracks don't have a noticeable gap between them and the sound doesn't feel overly compressed and "distant" if that makes sense, I'm fine with it. It's free, after all.

Right, I'll probably just start with 320kbps/48,000 Hz mp3's and maybe look into FLAC and 192kbps mp3's for folks with slower connections since I'm hoping to get back into a solid recording routine so I can post improvs, live sets, and so forth.
I'm doing some (hopefully) final renders tonight for the previously unfinished Apple Snails album that a few of you guys downloaded a while back.
If anyone wants to hear it and criticize/comment on how it sounds through their speakers I'll hook you up with a link. It sounds just right on my speakers and really good on my headphones as well, but y'know how it goes.

Add a drop of lavender to your milk, leave town with an orange, and pretend you're laughing at it.
I do plan on having minimal artwork to go with each recording I post... Probably no fancy PDF spreads or liner notes at any point though.

That Apple Snails stuff is fantastic, I can't wait to hear what a polished version sounds like.
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage
