the one thing I admire MOST about Churchill was his ability to make decisions the rest of us couldn't. For example, when presented with the German enigma, he was faced with either intercepting a German attack against a British city, thereby alerting the Germans that their codes were compromised....OR, doing nothing and letting thousands of people die, but keeping the Germans in the dark and probably ending the war sooner.

He chose the latter, which is really amazing if you think about it. Not sure contemporary leaders would ever be able to do the same, and if they did it would be political suicide

Teddy had a lot of viewpoints I could stand behind.
He was all for equal rights for women in his time.

This is very true. It does astound me that he was able to make decisions such as that.

I'm not a fan of Churchill's post-war political career. He was a fantastic leader during the war, however.
Despite all my rage, I'm still just Nicolas Cage

I can't like Truman. He allowed the bomb to be dropped.

Valid Point. I'd hope you couldn't like FDR either with the Dresden Bombings and all.

And as you said with Churchill, both of those men made decisions that would be impossible to make.
But I really like FDR for the whole getting out of the great depression thing. Smart man.
