Ok. In the process of registering www.historyofrock.com. I just need a server to host the domain on. I can do it at work so it should all work out. It'll be out of pocket expense for me but that won't be a big deal at all. This way it can be our own site with 100% control and no ads.

We can break the site up anyway we want to. For me itll be a dumping ground for just album reviews and opinions. I may do segments on lost 70s occult rock and heavy metal tracks/records/etc...

Expecting traffic to be very low and can be very pretentious about it. Ill cross post on metallum's forums too. But if you want your own blog segment or just want to contribute to the main feed just let me know or share your ideas. Also we can crosspost HF's radio setlists and the like.

In all seriousness, I'd be interested in contributing in any way you guys deem would be most appropriate. Since I'm probably the youngest regular, maybe that can factor in to the role I get.

i just spent 4 hours fixing computer problems between my laptop and desktop

i had to rename my new 2TB external hard drive on my desktop so iTunes could find my files without me having to completely redue my library, but then iTunes wouldn't work

finally fixed that, then i went to put files on my old hard drive from my laptop to clear up space on it, but the drive wouldn't get read for some reason, eventually i got it to work

then, i go to re-plug in my laptop's AC adapter, but it says the battery isn't charging, after trying everything i could think of, i consulted and tried and failed a dozen solutions, until finally getting it to work

**** this was a long night, what should've taken 20 minutes to do and go to sleep made me stay up until 5:30....

Computer problems are the worst when you spend so much time using them and storing ridiculous amounts of data on them.
When my last PC crapped the bed I swear I felt my liver fail in preparation for a very miserable death.
