Now that you're here, 'stasis, I was thinking about starting that thread you were talking about months ago. I've been working on an OP for it, what do you think?

    The Crust Punk/Grindcore/Powerviolence/Screamo Thread

    Albums to get you started:

    Amebix - Arise
    Assück - Anticapital
Axegrinder - Rise of the Serpent Men
Circle of Dead Children - Starving the Vultures
Circle Takes the Square - As the Roots Undo
Combatwoundedveteran - I Know a Girl Who Develops Crime Scene Photos
Discharge - Hear Nothing See Nothing Say Nothing
    Disrupt - Unrest
    Dropdead - 2nd LP
    Envy - Insomniac Doze
    Funeral Diner - The Underdark
Gasp - Drome Triler of Puzzle Zoo People
His Hero is Gone - Fifteen Counts of Arson
    Infest - Slave
    Magrudergrind - Magrudergrind
Morser - 10,000 Bad Guys Dead
    Orchid - Chaos is Me
    Repulsion - Horrified
Suis La Lune - Quiet, Pull the Strings
Systral - Fever... the Maximum Carnage
    Edit:

I've also been thinking about starting a Heavy/Power/Speed Metal thread because there's no shortage of great bands I've been discovering over the years, but I don't know if there would be enough interest.

Sounds good to me, though you may want to include a few more common staples for beginners like Napalm Death, Antioch Arrow, etc.

Thread's up, I'll probably add a deep cuts section later with some input from others.

I'd hope people don't like Earth Crisis. Bad stuff.

I love that game, I was so happy to finally get Yoshi. I played through Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo Tooie, but not getting 100%. I need to start Donkey Kong 64 again soon. But for the moment I'm playing Resident Evil: Code Veronica X, which I started after completing Resident Evil: Director's Cut and Resident Evil 5, both great games as well.
