Another great thing to do to somebody who says they like "all kinds of music" is to subject them to the Japanese avant-garde scene... also works wonders on Japanophiles.

I find "I like all types of music but Country" a more common response.

It's too bad both get such bad exposure nowadays... I think current popular rap is a wonderful way to kill brain cells.

So there is a strong possibility I'm attending a cave show tomorrow. I have no idea what to expect.

Assuming you find it or whatever, just post it on my last.fm or something.
Just posted a link to the album on your last.fm page.

Thank you very much. I googled the hell out of that thing and just kept coming up with dead links.

You're very welcome. Yeah, I had no luck finding it either, so I grabbed it on SS then uploaded it to my MF account.

Now you have a review from R2R that you can definitely not say relies on cultral commentary.

Yeah, I just looked at that schedule. Didn't look like there was anything particularly interesting. Maybe if I'm bored one of the days there's a concert I'll think about going, but I'm not marking my calendar now. Yeah, actually, the Celebrate Brooklyn! thing hasn't even announced its full schedule and I'm already more interested in that.

Yeah, I hear that a lot when it comes to people talking about their music tastes, although something like "oh, and that metal with growling in it" as a last added thought.
