    Hehe, An old friend of mine tried to get me into PM...I couldn't help but laugh at how cheesy it was.

    And the higher-pitched they get, the cheesier it is... oddly enough, the songs where they drop-tuned the guitars and the singer went more into a baritone voice weren't that bad.

    Yeah, overall it was still pretty meh. Fortunately I had a palate cleanser of an album already in mind, which I've now reviewed on The Gorgon.

    Pagan's Mind is pretty good for Progressive Power Metal, a style I enjoy quite a bit, but Anubis Gate is my bread and butter for it.

    Agreed on Anubis Gate... haven't heard all that much of them, but I've liked what I've heard from them in the past.
