Even as a fan of King Crimson, I've gotta admit... there's a lot of crap in their discography.

As for Vampire Weekend, I'd still say they're better than any of the other groups you just lumped them in with by a wide margin... in fact, the other ones don't make Christgau look snobby, they make him look like a shill.

Vitalogy is their peak, but I really like their first two as well.

I don't like Robert Christau, though, or however you spell his name. Giving Soulja Boy a good review wasn't exactly good for his credibility.
