    I'm somewhat familiar with math rock, even if I took the circuitous path to get there (honestly, started listening to mathcore, in particular DEP, before getting into math rock)...

    Also used to that sort of polyrhythmic stuff from some of the good jazz and fusion drummers, but it's very rare you hear it at that speed.

    I've always enjoyed this solo, not because of any craziness (although it does get crazy towards the end), i just really like how it sounds.
