Okay, guys, I'm looking to prove to a friend that the "most brutal song ever" (that's your cue to roll your eyes) is not one by Suicide Silence (oh wait, that was the cue). I've got a few choices in mind, but I know some of you guys are much more well versed in metal than I am. So, I want the single most "br00tal" song you can think of, one that would make a metalcore listener **** his pants. Much as I love stuff like Atheist or Bathory, seems too tame for what I'm looking for.

Any suggestions?

Although not necessarily "brutal" in the metalcore sense, "Heyoah" by Vampillia would pretty well freak out a mainstream metal fan.

Beyond that, look into some grindcore... most anything off of Wormrot's most recent album would probably suffice.

Grindcore was my first thought, though I think he might take some of it as tongue-in-cheek, same thing with Vampillia. The important moral I'm trying to get across is that Suicide Silence are not, by any means, badass

And yes, I hate the designation "brutal" as well.

That's the real trick - a lot of the most aggressive-sounding bands do so deliberately in a tongue-in-cheek fashion, it seems.

Yeah, I personally laugh at Suicide Silence, though for entirely different reasons

I could always go for something like Alcest, but I'm afraid it won't be "br00tal" enough.

Maybe some Meshuggah, Portal, or Autopsy?
Although, hell if I know what "brutal" means (I mean, I guess I know what it means, I just think it's not a very good way to describe music).

Or maybe try some Deathspell Omega, particularly from the album Si Monumentum.
