Okay, guys, I'm looking to prove to a friend that the "most brutal song ever" (that's your cue to roll your eyes) is not one by Suicide Silence (oh wait, that was the cue). I've got a few choices in mind, but I know some of you guys are much more well versed in metal than I am. So, I want the single most "br00tal" song you can think of, one that would make a metalcore listener **** his pants. Much as I love stuff like Atheist or Bathory, seems too tame for what I'm looking for.

Any suggestions?

I'd go with Ulver's "Nattens Madrigal" full album or possibly the Mayhem album that has Dead's corpse as the album cover. That album cover alone should be enough for that metalcore wuss to drop ass in his skinny jeans.

Apparently the reasoning for thinking the song is so "brutal" is the fact that it includes a real life sampling (from a new report) of a woman being murdered by a monkey. So it's not musical, but lyrical content he's looking for...

Speaking of Ulver, the first few minutes of their "The Norwegian National Opera" concert film would suffice... although not much music per se, just the imagery of a man being hung from the rafters and blood slowly oozing from his mouth...

Anyone looking forward to Mass Effect 3? Playing the series again in anticipation. Almost finished with an ME2 playthrough (though the past few weeks have been an absolute cluster ****).

ME3 looks great. I'm going to have to pick it up eventually when it comes out.

Not disgusting, but kinda in the same vein as the sample, but lets go with Sunn O)))'s Bathory Erzsebet.
Vocals were recorded by sticking Malefic (from Xasthur) in a coffin that was in the back of a hearse and recording his screams (he's apparently claustrophobic).

And, not lyrics, but there's also the album art to Mayhem's Dawn of Black Hearts that has a picture of the corpse of one of the band members after he killed himself.

Also, just find any death metal band with gore lyrics pretty much.
Don't know many off the top of my head personally though (when I listen to death metal, it's generally tech or prog death where the lyrics generally don't deal with gore).

Other lyrical greats to consider: OTEP's "Jonestown Tea" (surprisingly unsettling for a band with their, ah, reputation), some darker Nick Cave, the last stanza of Bauhaus' "Antonin Artaud," anything pornogrind (like **** & Ball Torture), and Christian Death's "Burnt Offerings."
