You will absolutely LOVE Animals. High underrated album. Dogs is the highlight for me.

I will also have to get Dark Side, WYWH, and the Wall remasters at some point.

What's the difference with Remasters, if I may ask? Are you talking about the new re-distribution of the whole library?

Yeah I suppose so. I just assume that Remasters are supposed to sound better. For me I got it mainly because I didn't have it before.

Remastering is literally what it sounds like; they take the master tracks of dated albums and REmaster them.

they master the tracks better/differently, due to their current production standards... yes. Some people hate remasters and think the originals are more organic, raw, etc thus better. There's a whole debate over it.

Yeah I've heard that debate before. I don't really know I guess. I'll try out this remaster and see what I like. It came from strong recommendation that I try the new deluxe version of Quadrophenia so I bought it.

I wouldn't imagine most would do that. Pretty sure they'd at least keep the originals for records or documenting purposes.

Oh ok good. I would hope so at least. Hopefully they popped out the safety tab on the tapes.
