I had a dream that I was touring Europe with an all-BBW punk band called Facesit, The Man.

Real life totally sucks in comparison.

i'm almost done with the game, and i will be very disappointed if the ending doesn't contain "(Don't Fear) The Reaper" playing

(half-joking aside, i'm making my own soundtrack with my ideas of "themes" for the characters just in case)

I'd say Evanescence is what Within Temptation would sound like if that band had Nu-Metal tendencies to go with their pop-metal sound.

There really isn't anything inherently gothic about the music of Evanescence so I assume that they get the gothic label due to how Amy Lee dresses... ...or the fact that she sounds like she's crying through every song she sings. As for symphonic metal, not sure how one can cram that and nu-metal together, unless they abandoned their original sound to jump onto what other female fronted metal/rock bands were doing.

I was the bassist. You know, the one with the rumble from down under. Nice to meet you outside dreamland.

RO: Uphill Battle is a pretty cool recent discovery of mine, definitely grabbing both of their albums soon.

RO: Mazzy Star is the perfect music to listen to on a spring-like winter day that makes everyone but the broken kid in class feel happy to be alive.
