On the subject of games... Gowie, what did you think of the ME3 extended cut (you haven't been on AIM, but I guess I deserve that )? I personally get some of the criticisms, but I was personally very satisfied with it. My original problem with the ending was not the overall premise, but the brevity. In my opinion, the EC has shown that the overall premise wasn't that terrible, it's just that they tried to leave way, way too much to the imagination. And personally, I thought the Refusal ending was a nice touch.

Of course, you've got the Bioware forums who still have people who demand an ending where you refuse and still kick the Reapers ass. I'm personally in agreement with some that say that's like demanding that you should be able to save both Kaiden and Ashley in ME1.

So yes, not perfect, but I feel the series is complete.

I half agree with Joe Vargas on the issue, but to say it shortly I can actually play my Mass Effect games without hating myself now. I have plenty of problems I'd be glad to go into detail with if I hadn't for some idiots reason just woken up.

I thought the new ME3 endings were good, not great, but they did enough to satisfy me in comparison to the original endings. Could always have been better, but like I said, good enough for me.

I think they suck almost just as bad as the previous endings. They mainly added (swiss) cheese to fill plot holes.
It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now.

Given the framework they constrained themselves with since the original endings were very weak, the developers at Bioware did about as well as they could with the new endings. Still not great, but an improvement.

Got a new review on the blog posted up. I went mainstream this time, with Garbage's "Not Your Kind Of People." Let me know if you dig.

Last time I checked out one of your reviews I ended up digging the Xenomorph album. Even though I may not listen to this one, I'll be sure to read your review.
