Is it just me, or does it seem like a couple of people still at least check in here daily? I know I do, but I should actually post things more.

i think the main thing is that there are a lot of little interface problems that i run into that make me not feel like coming back as often. also, there's this awful chain reaction where well-versed regulars leave, making conversation less vibrant, causing regulars to get bored and depart and so on

We do have a few active threads per day, so that's definitely a plus.

I think all of that is pretty much spot on, I try to come here every day even though I'm not posting with hardly as much frequency in past years.

I think a bunch of us do make a stop here at least once a day even if the posts don't really reflect that, I know I'm checking in multiple times per day.

Indeed, just found out about that a few hours ago myself.

thanks. Date is October 30th, which had its share of drama of picking as Chinese tradition demands carefully computing an auspicious day. No clue how it works, I just sat back with my beer and popcorn and watched the whole thing unfold.

Wow, rest in peace Ray Manzarek. His keyboard work was far and away my favorite part of The Doors, not to mention the great work he did with X.
