For some reason I kind of expect a Swoon song on RB3. We got a Carnavas song on RB2, then 2 songs from the album, and later on 2 from Swoon. It would be like a weird pattern. >_> Anyway, The Royal We plz. Or Growing Old Is Getting Old, though the drummer would just be hitting the kick for the first 3 minutes. But it's still a kickass song.

man, I hope not. Assuming they have an on-disc song and also assuming it'd be from Swoon, I'm hoping for It's Nice To Know You Work Alone or There's No Secrets This Year. I'd also be down for either of the 2 u mentioned.

I think they have pretty much all their big songs as DLC and from RB2.

It's too bad GH6 got No Secrets this year.

I am resurrecting an old thread here, I know... but we are overdue for a couple more SSPU songs! This band deserves more DLC, especially since Power Gig and GHWOR have SSPU songs on disc, and we got zippo for RB3.

    My recommendations:

Common Reactor (cut the distored guitar at the end after the first 15 seconds or so... we don't need a 3-minute long Big Rock Ending)

    Rusted Wheel

    Kissing Families

    No Secrets This Year

The Royal We <---- the last half of this song is simply AMAZING

It's not 3 minutes long. Maybe one minute. Also, I don't like songs beeing cut. I get the argument but just like they would never cut the end of the Beatles A Day In The Life they shouldnt cut this one as well. Also, a one minute long big rock ending sounds interesting. xD

I would like to have such a song for using it as the last song in my setlist.

Yeah it might be interesting for something different, but personally I think long BRE's get very tiresome. This BRE in particular would be a bad match for what the actual musicians are doing. Mainly what you are hearing is changes to the effects pedal, not mad strumming. There's not even any drums present. The BRE in Tom Petty's "Last Dance with Mary Jane" is crazy long, and I think this one would be at least 3 times longer.

There's a good place to cut it that would sound natural too. At the end the guitar has a long sustained chord. Right before it shifts to a different chord, just put in a quick fade out.

Anyway, the BRE debate is of minor significance compared to the fact that we need these songs! With or without the BRE, Common Reactor would be great.
