I didn't know that. Thanks for the info.
If the tracks have been truly remastered (as claimed in the article) and the old masters were unusable, then that means that songs that may have not been usable in Rock Band 2 without a patch will now be usable. I was in the camp that the reason the Beatles had a separate game wasn't just an ego issue from the band members, but more of HMX needing to re-engineer the game engine to work with masters they couldn't previously work with. When the title was changed to include Rock Band, I had a feeling they may have found a way to use the same engine with the masters, and this gives a little more reason for my suspicion. I could be dead wrong, but only time will tell.

If the remasters are as good as the Love release... I will be getting them all... again.
I wonder how many copies of the same CDs I have. I know for sure I have four different versons of The Who's "Who's Next" album.
Anyway, I may only get their last five or so of the remasters since I like those better than their early work...
Pushing 50 and still rockin' like a teen, only now I can afford it and it takes longer to recover.
Remasters might not necessarily be a good thing with the way the loudness war has been going...
