Yeah, I'm waiting on the box sets to hear some reviews of the relative merits of stereo vs. mono. It would be great to get both sets, but I don't have that kind of cash and realistically, I wouldn't listen to it all very often.
Oh Darlin, when you brought me that toast the other morning, I looked into your eyes, and I saw a National Health Eyeball...

Seriously, I admire your self-control. I'm usually good with it for most things, but there's no way I'd handle not having this game on 09/09/09. I'm postponing getting the boxset until around Xmas time. That's my one act of Beatles related self control.
Thanks. I also think Christmas would also be a better time to butter up my parents and sister with a little of the sauce so they will be a little more eager to play with me

The mono boxset, to me, just seems like a die-hard only curio. I fully understand the arguments in favour of it (how the albums were originally presented etc.) but it's just not for me.

I dunno... when you reach the end of your life, you won't say to yourself, "I wish I'd spent just a little more time with my friends and family" or "I wish I'd spent a little longer working on myself". You'll say, "I wish I'd played that one video game three months earlier."

I respect your decision Julio, but remember the game is "friend friendly." As far as school goes, the Beatles are history, you may have to count songs or examine your percentages, you'll learn to spell things like balalaikas, scientific things like cellophane flowers of yellow and green, and philosophical things like "And the time will come when you see we're all one, and life flows on within you and without you." It's a win win.
    More Beatles DLC, PLEASE!

Aren't video games usually a social thing? It should just be a tool to entertain, no reason why friends can't join in. As a matter of fact I thought that was the point with games like Rock Band?

Julio! How long have you been following this thread? All summer. Do yourself a favor and buy the $60 game. You're a Beatles fan. You know you won't regret it. And those friends aren't friends unless they play games with you. School I understand. What grade are you in?

    Good news everyone...

My countdown is on to the second batch of announced songs!

For this next 15 songs, I will be listing them in the order they appeared in the second trailer, followed by the remaining songs in the order in which they appeared in the press release.
