Just watched The Wackness. I loved it.

Saw the Incredible Hulk last night. Pretty good. Enjoyed it better than the first one.

I tried to watch the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but I only lasted an hour and a half and i couldn't watch it anymore. Too slow.

Then I watched AVP Requiem a little bit ago. Enjoyable. Better than the first one.(redundent much?) just someone tell be why it got an R rating.

    Today I saw Funny People.
It was pretty funny, surprisingly, there was a good plot.
LOTS of swearing though, and a bit of nudity...which are both awesome.

    bottom line:
    4.5/5
DLC wishlist-Symphony X, Muse, INTERPOL, Extreme, Blizzard of Oz album, Avenged Sevenfold, The Eagles

I saw Funny People too. It was pretty good, a little more drama and fewer laughs than I was expecting. Darker too. 40-year old virgin is still my favorite Apatow film though.

A respectable 7/10. Definitely recommended if you like lots of penis jokes.
    DLC requests:
Opeth, Symphony X, Dream Theater, In Flames, Dark Tranquillity, Arch Enemy, Elvuitie, Epica, Nightwish, Arctic Monkeys, Cream

    Funny People 8.5/10
Of his three films, Funny People is the most serious subject matter and has the most mature plot of the three. Is it the funniest? No it's not (but trust me, there is still some great moments in the film). The film however has some serious emotions felt throughout and I loved that it was a more serious film. Shows that Apatow is great at making comedies with a good story arc instead of just comedic sketches thrown over a thin plot. I do recommend the film but it may not be everyone's cup of tea if they are expecting a non-stop laugh out loud moments like 40 Year Old Virgin was. And for the record, my rankings would go like this for Apatow's three directed films:

    Knocked Up 9.5/10
    40 Year Old Virgin 9/10
    Funny People 8.5/10
    Band Wishlist
    Cynic
    Death
    Fair to Midland
    Gojira
    King Diamond
    MGMT
    Opeth

Drag Me To Hell - 9/10

When it was supposed to be scary, it was really scary.
When it was supposed to be funny, it was incredibly funny.
Not removing this until we get some Sunn O)))
in which case this will be on for a while.
