    The Manchurian Candidate - 8/10

Solid movie, but now that I've seen Jay Pharoah's Denzel Washington impersonation, I have a hard time watching any Denzel movie without cracking up constantly.

I saw Big Stan last night.

I found myself chuckling at the absurdity, but watched the whole thing.

You should watch the 1962 original, it's far better. The remake was a decent try, though.

    I plan on it.

Id give Minority Report a 6 at best, but can't say I'm objective on that evaluation as I despise Colin Farrell and his work in that film did nothing to change that.

Watched Paranormal Activity 2 just now.
Like the first one, it wasn't scary in the slightest.
But unlike the first one, I actually had a lot of fun with this movie.

I dunno why, it just seemed a lot more enjoyable and didn't have that rumbly thingy ruining all the suspense. The first one felt like it was trying really hard to be scary, and the fact that it wasn't really dampened the whole thing. I felt like this movie had its priorities to try to clean up the first one and explaining the mythology around it, so it didn't feel as disappointing. Or maybe the first one lowered my standards :P

I do wish they spent more time with the main dude contemplating on whether or not he should pass the demon onto Katie. I find that 100 times scarier than anything the movie tried to do. Seriously, if they made half of the "What's going on?" phase into "Should we or shouldn't we?", the movie would be really frightening.

Still a fun movie, a million times more enjoyable than the first. Also just as unscary :I

I saw "The Muppets" two weeks ago it was great. The day before I saw Hugo. That was also really good.

These 2 might be the first movies (newer ones) that i have watched in a long time.
Muppet movies are usually always good.
