Well, it is a British movie.

Unlike The Avengers, which Europe got first too. :-D

Haha, I didn't even realize that Skyfall hadn't come out in the US yet. I may watch it in a theater here in Italy at some point.

Back to the Future - 11/10
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix - 8.5/10
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - 9/10 (What a lame plot twist...)
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 - 9/10

Speaking of movies not being released in America, I'm bummed about Imaginaerum apparently being exclusive to Finland.

    wrong turn 5

i have to applaud thos series for getting progressively worse every time. it is at least consistent. the only way the series could possibly be redeemed is if they went full Pink Flamingos

    battle royale

    - so i finally watched this movie and i have to say it is really really bad with over the top campy acting. other than the general concept, i don't see anything remotely good about this movie. i wasn't even entertained by the stupidity and cartoonish violence.

    Quarantine 2

That was pretty awesome! The ending leaves it open to another sequel, but I'm not sure how they could do it without making essentially the same movie yet again (though don't get me wrong, I'd see it if they did ). I like the reason for the "infection" supplied here much better than the religious hokum put forth in [REC] 2 (though I enjoyed both movies).

    I give this a good, solid 7, 7 1/2 out of 10.

    I cento passi

Solid biopic about Giuseppe "Peppino" Impastato, an Italian activist who stood up to the Mafia (and I'll say no more, to avoid spoilers). Solely based on what actually happened, there's a fantastic story for this movie to tell. Some might say the acting is too melodramatic at points, but I wouldn't. I really couldn't imagine people handling these situations any differently in real life, which means it's entirely enjoyable acting. The director, however, does make some rather cliche choices at certain points, and for a movie that was made in 2000, the special effects look dated (not really its fault, though, I suppose). These deficits don't really detract from the movie as a whole, which is still an engrossing affair. It's definitely worth a watch.

Apparently, this movie has never gotten a Region 1 release, and the only version on YouTube is without English subtitles. I imagine this could be a problem for non-Italian speaking viewers.

    Ted - 3/10

Not my style of comedy I guess which I expected considering it's by Seth McFarlane.
