I could see that. They're certainly different beasts. And 2 has Rosario Dawson in it.

When it comes to Kevin Smith flicks, you just can't top Mall Rats. That one just holds a special place for me.

Best Actress in a Drama should have been Naomi Watts in The Impossible hands down. Lincoln was snubbed terribly (because of Argo, but okay, I can see that) and Les Miserables won 2 too many awards.

    Gangster Squad

Not great, not terrible but an entirely enjoyable movie.

Les Mis won the awards it should have won. The only one that might be changed is the one Jackman won but I have not seen Silver Linings so I can comment. Also Jessica Chastain deserved to win that award.

Is that the one where there's a scene where they shoot up a movie theater?

Not anymore. Im assuming that the delay was to take that out. The first time I saw a trailer for that it was the day of the Batman shooting and it had that scene in the trailer. It is not in the final movie.

The original trailer for this movie was pulled after the Aurora, Colorado Century 16 massacre due to a shot in which four gangsters fire machine guns through a projection screen into a crowded movie theater. Warner Bros. then ordered the film back into production for a reshoot of the scene, necessitating a rescheduling of the film's release and rewrite of the script.
    Yup.
