I thought I was going to have the whole theater to myself but about 10 minutes after the movie started someone else came in.

I've enjoyed completely empty theaters maybe 5 or 6 times. It's luxurious. The best was a showing of Jurassic Park 3 where I laid down in the aisle right below the screen and watched the entire movie from the floor.

Unrelated, watched Breakfast at Tiffany's last night. Not at all what I expected, and surprisingly funny. Also, WHOA IS IT RACIST, and also weirdly ageist, as I don't believe there was more than 1 person visible in the entirety of New York City under the age of 30. Movies made before youth culture was a thing are really weird in hindsight.

My two experiences when it was just me and fam, I enjoyed getting to talk as loudly as I wanted, and to get up and walk around. No lying down, though. Hope the floor was clean

My wife and the Kiddos and I went to see Shrek 3 at an old neighborhood theatre out in an old logging town in Washinton (state), same thing, the whole theatre to ourselves.
Cool part about it was that it was REALLY old, had to be from the 50's or 60's so the sound and picture were just crap. But, it really gave us an old-timey movie feel and spurred an hour and a half question and answer session about the "old days". Oh yeah, no soda on tap, 8 oz bottles.

On the old movie thing...you nailed it. Even the folks that are under 30 are dressed in a fashion that makes them look older. People also carried themselves different, they were forced to act their age as it was perceived back then.

I think they could have done better casting for Adam. He doesnt seem right.

I was wrong. They turned Adam into the stereotypical stripper. This is a much better thing.
I think Adam is this movie would do more to influence kids to do bad **** than any video game would.
I mean hes 19 years old, stripping, drinking his ass off, doing drugs and getting laid like theres no tomorrow. 19 Years old.
So Dallas rips part of his thong, transition to new camera angle and they arent ripped anymore.
Cast someone else as Adam and Brooke and I think this would have been a better movie. I put my vote in for JGL and Emma Stone

Other than a few casting choices that I would have made differently and the ending Magic Mike was a decent movie
I just cant believe IMDB lied to me about the presence of penis! IM OFFENDED
