Yeah, it was a good film and posed some interesting thoughts.

I really don't appreciate movies that focus on delivering a punch ending. Especially when they're as cheesy as Shutter Island.

As soon as they mentioned there was a 67th patient, I knew it was Daniels, I just didn't see any of the other stuff coming.

That's not the entire spoiler. There's a ton more that gets revealed in the end. It's pretty easy to pick up on what I mentioned above. Sorry though, I assumed you guys had all seen it.

It's cool. It looked interesting when it came out but I never got around to it.

I liked Shutter Island. Really, what made it for me was Daniels' last line. It felt to me like the shot of the chauffeur at the end of Usual Suspects in terms of "heywaitaminute"ness.

    Yesterday I saw

Paris is Burning (1991): I liked it very much, although I feel I'm loosing interest in documentaries.

Cloud Atlas (2012): The idea is excellent, but the project is probably simply too ambitious. I can just imagine the nightmare of a task it must have been to write the script. It's hard to take the movie seriously because some superficial aspects are comic like the make up and because the tone is inconsistent.

Margaret (2011): I liked this movie much more than I expected. It made me very anxious and took me a while into the movie to decide whether I liked it. The editing and writing are very peculiar. The characters are constantly in conflict, everyone seems so egoistical and that's what makes it such a great depiction of urban life. The geographical closeness does not bring people together, it only makes them perpetually collide.
