I saw Robin Hood (1991, I think) with Uma Thurman. Was great.

Honestly, all the upcoming movies for 2010 just seem...utterly dreadful.

The only one that really seems to stand out would be Kick-Ass, but every other movie is pretty much a remake..for the most part

Hmm I forgot to say yesterday that I also saw The Notorious Betty Page over the weekend. Pretty good flick, I never realized she went through so much crap in her life.

I hated it. Utterly predictable and poorly written.

His weakness is drowning? Who the hell doesn’t have that weakness? It might as well been his weakness is dropping grand piano’s on him.

I'm not sure that was supposed to be his weakness, but more something that Elijah used as an example of how he and David were alike, while they were completely opposite in terms of how unbreakable they were. But then, it's been almost ten years since I've seen the movie, so I may be completely wrong.

his weakness wasnt drowning, he was afraid of water. he drowned as a child and was at the bottom of the pool for 5 minutes and didnt die. he was simply afraid of water because of that. thats what i think at least.

the movie is awesome with great camera work. really long camera shots that keep your interest. if you go into this movie knowing its an M. Knight movie, then yes, u can predict the ending very easily cause after seeing the sixth sense your expecting a surprise twist. but otherwise, its fantastic. no explosions. no special effects. no fast cuts. people are actually acting in it and a butcher didnt edit it. dialogue driven leaving you with "what ifs.." in ur mind while watching. its about finding your place in the world and realizing who you are and admitting to the things you have always now about yourself but are too afraid to admit.

there are corny scenes in it (like when his son wants to shoot him and his wife says "no shooting friends"). its a hell of a lot better than a ****-tonne of movies that get made these days.

Friday night I watched Fight Club for about the fourteen-hundredth time, then followed it up with Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Oh yeah. \m/
