I know it was just a trailer but the new Inception trailer has me giddy for July 16th. Christopher Nolan makes some great original films (Memento, The Prestige) and this movie looks like it will continue his awesome non-Batman streak. Anyone agree?

I saw Iron Man 2 last night. Very good movie. 9/10. bman hit it on the head, the critics who didn't like it are expecting too much and trying to read too much into the various plotlines. It is what it is, a big budget summer action movie that does a good job appealing to the casual moviegoer as well as the fans. I didn't feel that the various plotlines bogged it down or muddled it - it had a good pace to it. There weren't any parts where I was confused because they were trying to cater to the hardcore fans or where I was bored because they were spending too much time on backstory at the expense of the high action and smart ass humor the series is built around. And Scarlett Johannson with firey red hair in a skintight catsuit is just icing on a very tasty cake.
The trailer for Super 8 looked kinda cool, but I don't know why they're making a movie about a motel chain. And if you don't want to stay for the post-credits scene, don't - you really won't miss much.

The Karate Kid movies ruined everything yet I still love them.

Watched The Spirit again for the first time in like a year. Still a great movie if you overlook a plothole or two.

I just got done watching Push. What a mess that was. Fairly cool concept, but terribly executed and casted. A very pretty movie, but not an enjoyable one. D+
