I was unlucky enough to have to sit through not only the trailer for Grown Ups, but a behind the scenes, when I saw Iron Man 2. I believe in the theory that Adam Sandler is on a quest to see just how ****ty a movie he can make before he finally pisses off his fans.
Yeah but Funny People had one major plus: Aubrey Plaza. She's adorable and I've got a HUGE crush on her.
On topic, the last two movies I've seen were Toy Story 3 and She's Out of My League. Toy Story was pretty much perfect but that's about what I was expecting. I was expecting She's Out of My League to be stupid but it exceeded my expectations - I really liked it a lot.
Stone In Love - Journey
Rose of the Devil's Garden - Tiger Army
Don't Change - INXS
Highway Song - Blackfoot
Tonight She Comes - The Cars

Really good. Cantet might be the best rising French director. I didn't love The Class, but this guy continues to impress me. He makes great subtle, important films. I'm going to see more of this guy's stuff, I mean he did make one of the best films of the last decade.
hm?
Role Models. It was suprisingly funny. I somehow see Banky being like the King of the Burger Hole.
Gonna watch Hurt Locker this afternoon. Watched the Book of Eli the other day. Despite some slow acting, the movie was rather good. I wont go into spoiler territory here but I have to admit, I think Gary Oldman is quite possible my favorite actor of all time.![]()

Hurt Locker is at the front of my need-to-see list....though I've heard mixed things about. particularly from a friend of mine who actually does IED disposal in Iraq: he said the movie has absolutely no connection to reality.
