the usual suspects. one of my all-tim favorites. certainly in my top ten. mcmanus, fenster, hockney, keaton and verbal. all of them played to perfection. great story, nice pacing, good acting from the main cast and the secondary players, nice score and one of the better endings you're gonna find. 9/10.

I have cried during a few movies: Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile, and yes, Toy Story 3. Also, that one episode of Futurama, but come on, who doesn't?

    Deep Impact:

Well, before you go saying "Isn't that an Armageddon rip-off?" I'll answer:

No, it came out in theaters a few months before Armageddon.

Anyway, it starts ungodly slow, but starts to pick up when the astronauts fail at destroying an asteroid. Afterwords we get a lot of cheesy drama from all sorts of characters, along with some plot twist that result in even more drama.

But at least millions of people die in this film.

But that's not a reason to improve the score. Still, it's a cheesy 1990's film, so I guess I enjoyed it for that.

6/10. Watch if you want to see just how cheesy films were two decades ago.

So basically, Tom Hanks makes you cry.

Oh, and the quality of bad flicks from the late 90's can be blamed on Michael Bay, Jerry Bruckhiemer, Don Simpson, and Roland Emmerich. Honorable mention goes to Simon West.

And most of them are still making ****** movies and TV shows.

That episode was on just the other day. I had to change the channel before it ended to stop myself from tearing up.

I think that's more indicative of the quality of movies he is in, but yes, I guess you could say that.

The Hangover Pt II -- more of the same; Ed Helms character seemed particularly obnoxious this time, as his "freak-out" moments were a bit over-the-top, and Zach Galif-whatever didn't contribute much, but otherwise an enjoyable film. Especially with a beer by your side and your sobriety level a bit low. Would give it a decent 6.5/10

Green Zone - freaking fast-paced film, never lets up. The Bourne feel to it is unmistakable, and Damon's acting is a bit stale (like he's just going through the Jason Bourne motions, except this time he's in Iraq). The political element to it was interesting, though I guess that depends on one's own orientations. Still, the movie just wasn't engaging; a movie like The Kingdom does a lot more, I'd say. 7/10

That doesn't mean ****. I don't care or anything, but you do know how long it takes to make a movie, don't you? The two were in production at the same time, so either one could have been a "rip-off" of the other. Or, far more likely, they were both "rip-offs" of the same third party.

The one where Fry tries to bring his dead dog back to life. He decides not to do it because the dog lived for so many years after he got frozen so he figured that it got over him. It ends with his dog dying waiting for Fry to come back. Very sad.
